Rebels lead 1-0 at half time through a Josh Millar goal. Low pass was excellently dummied by Alexis to leave Millar one on one with the keeper and he chipped it up over him before slotting in.

 

They're well in the game though and have hit the post twice, both times the ball rebounding to safety.

Seedel scores for 2-0. Mason through ball to Seedel who hit it into the top corner from just inside the edge of the box. Braich and Lovegrove have just combined to clear the ball off the line after their striker just rounded Parkin.

Keller taken out of the game with a late tackle on the half way line and with both subs used, Rebels have to play the final minutes with ten men.

Lost 3-2 apparently. Two quick goals in the start of the second half (which no one tells me about!!) and one other...

Bloody inconsiderate of Salisbury if you ask me.... Scoring went 1-0 Slough, to 3-1 Salisbury, then 3-2. Apologies for the misinformation!

Concentrate on the game, Gary, it helps I'm told.

 

Pretty poor fare in footballing terms, but more than made up for by the comedic performance of the three officials. I have never seen so much crap from 3 people, it was genius. Best moment (out of many) has to be when the linesman flagged for offside and the ref, spotting the flag about 30 seconds late, jogged the entire width of the pitch to discuss the decision. We were standing at the opposite end and could hear the linesman shout three times, 'offside, he came back from an offside position' but the ref kept running over. As soon as he got there the linesman said it for a fourth time, and the ref immediately jogged back to the other side of the pitch for the free kick to be taken. Other top moments included myself and Cousins taking the piss out of the Salisbury coach as they had a free kick go just wide so he let out a noise as if he was struggling with a rather large turd. Also Cousins instructing the very large linesman that the pie shop would still be open when the game finished as he checked his watch.

 

All in all, the entertainment is best summed up in 2 words. CAPITAL LEAGUE!!!!!
