I'm just as dissapointed as the next man but come on lads. Okay the team were not up to scratch on the day (inc. the management team) and I was standing in front of our Chairman when we was "in discussion" with a certain supporter but hey, ho, it's only a game. It happened last Saturday, it is now history. Lets concentrate on the league and The Trophy...

Sorry Gazza but with that sort of mind-set we're never going to achieve anything are we? Why are we always 'looking to the future'? I'll tell you why, because 'the present' is more often than not so mediocre.

Okay, so my attitude is a bit more relaxed than the rest of the postings on this link but like you have said, we have seen it all before with GC. So why stress? Another mediocare season is calling.

 

To be honest, what with all the in fighting between the supporters and the club with regards to the move, I think this season has shaped up okay on the pitch (with the exception of last weekend). We have got better players but the question we have to ask, is the management up to it? I can't answer that one and won't. I posted some messages earlier this year, frustrated by the poor performances and all the responses I got was, it was the team. But who picks the team and tells 'em how to play and by what system?

 

Another question is, with Gary and George in the dug out, who has the stronger personality? Who do the players listen to? What if those two disagree? Me personally would perfer George in the dug out. Nothing personal to Gary, just my preferance.

 

On the other side of the coin, I don't, for all the "ranting" on this particular link, believe for one moment that the whole team (inc. The Management) wanted to loose on Saturday. Okay we were out thought and out fought but it happens. We should've, on paper, won it, I think but that is life in the great world of Footie. The team as a whole got it wrong (very wrong) and Havent got it right. End of story.
