Directions to East Thurrock

Recommended Posts

By road.

Click here and follow instructions 1 to 17. Directions start at Stonebridge Road.

From the A13 take the Junction for the A1014. This is the Manorway Corringham Road. Carry on along here until you get to a roundabout, go straight across and turn left into Rookery Hill for the B1420. The ground is on your left.

Trains.

Train time are here

A map from the station is here.

By boat.

Ferry timetable is here

From the port you can walk to Tilbury town and get a train.

By air.

You're joking right?

East Thurrocks website is here.

I know Alan W has put this info elsewhere but I was asked to do this by Jessica on saturday. Plus I'm bored.

If you want my advice go by boat then rail but all (except for the trains into then out of London) are equidistant.

From Grays, Aveley, South Ockendon, Tilbury, East Tilbury travel down the A13 towards Southend, take A1014 signposted for Corringham, Horndon on the Hill, at the top of the slip road go across the top of the A13 and down the dual carridgeway towards Coryton. Go straight over the roundabout and continue on dual carridgeway through a set of lights. As the road bears right you will see the Floodlights in front of you. Take the slip road on the left signposted Corringham and ground entrance is 50 yards on the left.
