it was about certain counsil members and certain lies that may have been said by them in the romord recorder about the capacity of the proposed new ground, and i think the thread escalated from there

it would not have been in romfords favour if the people opposing the ground had read the post, we are trying to come across as a harmless club that would do no harm to our new neighbours and the surroundings, these posts did not help ours case.

but lets be honest if romford do not get their own ground and get away from rush green they will never amount to anything, So the club need to be walking on egg shells at the minute and the things that are said onthe forum may not be help there bid for the new ground but its not stopping us have an unofficial romford forum is it

I'm happy with the explanations given for shutting down our forum at the present time. And as suggested, somebody could always start up an unofficial one if they are that bothered but don't look at me, because I'm not.

yeah,but the people who have shut the romford forum down are basically not allowing the fans of romford to speak on these issues by shutting it down!!

and not allowing us urchins to go on the romford forum and take the p1ss!

how many times does this need to be explained the people that have shut it down are doing it for the best interest of the club they are cutting their ties to the forum they have said we can start an unofficial forum that has no ties to the club or any of its board this way the club can not be held responsible for any thing anyone says on it. The club are not saying fans can not have there say, they just dont want to be the ones that are bitten when someone goes a bit far with the views

i could talk about this till blue in the face but still don't think you will grasp it the club no longer want to be involved with the forum so it has been deleted as all the people running our forum where directly involved in the club. so who would run it, they have closed it till someone unattached starts it up again as an unofficial forum is that any clearer
