In other news, Manny started for Lewes yesterday, possibly in a three-man attack with Foyewa and Sigere, who scored another couple.

 

Other ex-Fleet players to find the net yesterday were Akpo Sodje (Darlington), Guy (twice for Staines), Strouts (Maidstone - set up by Nick Hegley), and Stadhart Welling).

 

Oh, and Lew Watts had to go in goal towards the end of Tonbridge's match.

I thought he was talented, and would have been an interesting prospect for us. You can't blame him for missing some of the season, he has always suffered with knee problems.

Whether he would have been good, bad, or indifferent, with his on-going injury problems he would have been a liability to the squad.

Theres enough long term injuries in the squad as it is, with Porter and McKimm, without the potential of adding another?
