In which case, we've beaten renowned Cup Giant Killers Canvey Island in the league above and have reached the second round at least in the last few years, Hampton who are also above us and a very useful unbeaten side in a similar level league to your own.

You'll have to travel well to get anything at our place as Canvey, Hampton & Totton found out to their cost. If it were in t'North, then maybe we may get worried, but confidence is high and home form is good.

It'll be a good game whatever and much needed TV exposure for both sides.

I think this will be a very hard game. We must take it seriously. Look at AFC Totton. They nearly beat us and these lot are at a similar level. No doubt we will have to be at our best.

After Saturday it will be interesting to see how many go to Lewes.

I won't be! <img src="/forums/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" /> That will probably add at least ten onto the travelling hordes <img src="/forums/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

I think the home advantage will play a big part in procedings, but look at their results this year: 5-4, 3-4, 5-5, 7-2, 5-1, 4-0,6-4, 4-2. Got this email from a Marine fan (who they knocked out in the Cup already)

"Beware their forward line as they have pace, run at defenders with the ball and take their chances well. As good as anything I have seen in the Unibond this season. The defence is not so good but you need to get at them early and not too late in the day like us."

If this is true, I hope Adrian Brown isn't playing as he is very susceptible (sp?) to pace. Daly may even be back for then, but notice he still had a protective wrapping, possibly a cast, on his foot on Saturday, so may be a bit early for him. Deano and Ricky should be able to cope though.

Just hope we send someone to watch them regularly between now and the actual game so we know what to expect.

We didnt appear to have scouted Canveys long throw, which lead directly to a Goal the first time it was used, so why would we scoult Lewes? and more importantly when?

My recollection is that they were a highly physical side last year that kicked us off the park for 25 minutes, and who the ref let get away with murder. Lets hope that the ref protects Sammy and Tony, or we will be in trouble. Our style this season should be in our favour - we havent done well with forward jumping against big defenders trying for the flick off since the days of Hercules(Who in any case held the ball up rather more than he flicked it on), much better to play round or over them, or have Bubb run at them at pace. An early penalty and a three nil result would be nice.

You will find the majority of Harrogate Railway Athletic players and supporters are more than pleased with the draw. We will have a good day out and our boys have nothing to fear. The Railway will come steaming into Slough. Good Luck [color:"red"] [color:"green"]
