Comprehensive performance.... Very rarely in trouble. Always in command of the game.

 

Missed a penalty as well, and had a majority of the possession and definitely played the better football on a muddy surface <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Very dissappointed with Basildon, but you can only beat whats put in front of you <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" />

what was your game like yesterday.....?...I had the game down for goals so a bit surprised....

Solid performance by the lads, should have won by a couple, but the pitch was a leveller. Star performer for me was Danny Cowley, his work rate was exceptional. Outside of that, Danny Heale held the ball up well, the defence were solid and Burbridge and Thomas did very well when they came on.

 

Much needed result and now we can look forward to the small matter of Saturday.

Morning, only just seen the message...too much amber yesterday to even move the mouse let alone see the screen!

Pretty good game in the conditions, pitch cut up bad and was the heaviest it has been for a long time. Both sides adapted well, I would say Side shaded the game but everyone was content it was pretty even. Anyone could have knicked it really. We hit the bar with a superb free kick, thats about it really. No aggro at all, just a good old fashioned ESL match played in mud!
