We may have won in extra time, but the yanks turned up after the game was over and tried to claim all the medals.

 

When you watch the highlights it looks like the yanks scored all the goals.

Mind you I am glad we are not in italy's group, imagine we are winning 1 - 0 at half time, they play the second half against the germans.

 

Imagine if india qualified every time they got a corner, they would open a shop.

I follow england every game wherever in the world so yeah of course I'll be out there for all our games. . . tickets are guaranteed for all England matches. . . biggest problem this morning is sorting flights/hotels etc. . . prices have gone thru' the roof since last nights draw, seems that the whole of england is on its way to Germany. I was at Rod Stewart concert last night at Earls Court when draw was made and have missed the boat a bit price wise, mates were getting flights to Frankfurt. Nuremberg and Cologne immediately after draw for £30/£40'ish one way, now your looking at £160/£200 return to each city and they are rising fast . . such is life though, will be there whatever.
anyway off to our game now, Come on Canvey.

I think England are going to win this group, but the only problem is Sweden, we always end up drawing.

A few of us who are going over there will see Japan v Brazil or Togo v France, or maybe even both.

the group is fine it is the stages afterwards that is the problem, assuming that the favorites win each mach then we have, Poland then Argentina then Brazil then Germany in the finals. gonna be a tough route to glory

If italy go throught we play them in the Quarters.

quaters would be the winners and runners up from c and d so probably (portugal, mexico, argentina, holland) odds are acutually heading for Portugal or Mexico
