...was reading the Recorder re the row between Steve Gardner (Romford Chairman) and one of Blair's Brainiac MPs Keith Darvill, re the proposed site of a new ground for Romford FC.

Quotes in the Recorder today say that a new ground would (not could) reduce property prices by £40,000.

Over to you guys...are the houses in Bridge Avenue valued £40K less than houses in say Brookdale Avenue and Boundary Road?

Dunno if u know the area, but off Gallows Corner and right at the far end of Straight Road..Council offered the land and planning permission has gone in...as far as I know.

But now battling with nimbys and wannabe politicians...

Keith Darvill is not a MP but the councillor for the area of the proposed stadium.He was MP for Upminster 6 years ago.
