I've never commented on the team's performances, or those of individual players, because I have no valid comments to make, not having seen us play for too long. I'm confident though that we can stay up because I have the faith.

 

I haven't seen anything recently on when work will start on the ground proper, does anybody have any news on this ? I believe that visible signs of the work commencing before the end of this season will determine our success next season. The sight of something concrete happening (sorry, I couldn't resist the pun) should make it easier for CK to bring to the club those prospective signings who are currently holding back, it may also make it easier for some of our current squad to commit themselves to longer contracts. They need to see for themselves that the ground rebuilding programme, with all the associated financial implications, is viable and for real and that it is not just hot air or architects' drawings.

 

The last thing any one of us want next year is for CK to again be scrambling for signings after the season has started, when everybody else has settled sides.
