New Poster

Whilst quite a few are on here tonight following game, what are your views on the next poster. Our next home game after Saturday is Folkestone on Boxing Day. I am happy for Peter to design a poster for just this game, which I can then print off. How do others feel? Comments appreciated please

A special one would look good Alan, as you say. We need to get a good crowd in for that one so that game on its own on the poster would stand out more. Hype it up a little(local derby and all that).

As no comments take it you all agree with a special poster advertising Folkestone game only. Peter has just sent me it so will start the printing of them & bring them up to ground on Saturday

also need to draw attention to the fact that we still have a fixture against afc to be played within 40 days of the original date, so hopefully the club can give us some updates regarding this

As ken said at ET John . This was not true due to Xmas getting in the way. Will probably be aTue night later in the season perhaps feb half term. yes shem i have been unable to make ANY away games due to work but i thinbk my first away trip may be NYD against redbridge with a bit of luck!!

I'm sure we will hav no problem outnumbering thier fans!!!

New posters for Folkestone game all printed now. Will bring them up to clubhouse on Saturday. Please try & take some & get shops to put them up. Please dont leave them there & let poor Cookie distribute them around ground, although I know he doesnt mind!Already displaying one in a Ramsgate shop, it shows up the Rams FC one! I, for one will be bringing a few extra people to the game, maybe they will get hooked & keep coming! If anyone wants me to deliver some please PM me!

Of course I dont mind Alan but I would prefer it if others got one for themselves without the need for prompting.They can be found on the table as you enter the clubhouse.Come on lets get that figure back up to 1000 plus for the Folkestone game.Lets make it our target for this game why dont we?. Lets show everyone that the people of Thanet still want to come. Without the posters they wont even know the game is on apart from the regulars of course who do.Post them anywhere but obviously not on lamposts etc.Newsagents are more than willing to help and display them but you have to ASK them first.They are not mind readers.I know I keep going on about these posters but they are important I think.The increased gates lead to increased revenue which in turn should lead to better quality players. But you all know that anyway so please PLEASE take a poster or two & spread the word to others too to do so likewise. A lot of work has gone into these posters so lets not ignore them and lets have them do the job they are designed and printed for!!

Mr meatloaf and myself would be happy to display a poster ....but as mr meatloaf is extreamly busy on match days ..and im at my post, we are not always able to get to find the posters...if someone could get a poster or two, to us we would willing dispaly it/them.....got one the other week only coz cookie ( the darling he is ) gave me one ................a poster that is <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/chloe.gif" alt="" /> [color:"purple"] [/color]

I cant pick them up since I cant make the game. Can someone try to get one to Margate Library, Martyn's Newsagents and Andrew & Jills? Martyns and Andrew & Jills are on the Victoria road Traffic Lights... I also noticed one place on Margate High Street that puts posters up. The computer/stationary shop on McDonalds side at the top of the High Street. Perhaps someone could give that place a go. You cant miss it. There are a fair few posters in the front window already.

Thanks for delivering the posters...dont know your name. Will pop the posters by the Library and the shop on the High Street on Monday morning. Certainly a change with the landscape poster. Still good. Should be able to go to the game.

just a thought if anyone could provide one of those leaflet holders and stick it to the side of the burger van then each week just put them in there and every1 will see them and know where to get them, if noone can get 1 maybe if we asked the supporters club nicely maybe WE could purchase 1!
