As for MOB JNR he should claim an assist as he started the song just as Ibe scored. Boy didnt we celebrate.

MOB Jnr is an automatic member of the YELLOW ARMY accademy of fame as the starter of an army "TUNE" which was continued in full volume and fully embraced by the entire choir/drum ensemble of the ARMY................we applaud and welcome you to the innermost worshipfull and gracious headbangers club that are the Coach Gang.

Seriously though,it was a pleasure for you and your dad to be with us and hope to see you and your dad and loads of your mates on the coach next time.

A bit late with this but what a great result! Well done to the team/squad,Jeff/Glenn and all the Yellow Army

From reading posts on here and the Exeter forum we "were up for it" both on and off the pitch and it`s nice to hear the team take a couple of minutes to text the coach to show their appreciation for the people who gave up their time and money to travel to the game.

Looking forward to seeing the highlights on ConfTV.

I saw a lot of good posts on their forum about you lot, this was my favourite.

I was sitting very near to them and they kept singing virtually throughout the match. The drum definately should have been left at the turnstyle, but I have to say they supported their team well, and with a sense of irony. Their best chant was

Pub team from Essex, we're just a pub team from Essex

which is pretty much true, after all.

Blaming the pitch for "bringing Exeter down to Canvey's level?" - how very original Mr. Inglethorpe. Have to say that I watched you on several occasions for Leyton Orient a few years ago and remember you being c**p in most conditions, rain, hail or shine actually...

To be honest, he didn't really do the business when he was on loan with us!

Ironically one of the few games he did play for us was in the Roots Hall quagmire in that FA Cup game.

I was in the clubhouse on the Thursday evening before the Epic Southend encounter selling bloody coach tickets as usual, and Inglenook as we affectionately knew him stood with Jeff and claimed "Play me Jeff and i will score for you".........and the rest as they say is history. Not impressed. Left us and went to Leatherhead i believe as player/coach.

Sir Alex liked him as I remember. Only had good things to say after Exeter's 0-0 draw in the FA Cup against MUFC Reserves last season.

I suppose if he gets Exeter up this year he will have done a good job but not too impressed with him myself either to be honest.

There was a nice framed picture you could buy in the Exeter club shop of Inglethorpe at Old Trafford next to Ferguson, a great image which summed up that day. And I bought the Exeter v United programme!

Why wait for that ?

The full match will be shown at the clubhouse on Thursday night. Savour the moment with a beer or two!

Watched it down the club tonight. Potter's save was amazing and Ibe took his goal superbly. His close control considering the surface was appaling was superb.
