Thought we played very well today. For a side that started 4th in the table I didn't think Morecambe were that god.

Another a well-worked goal from Charlie as well.

hard to say I thought because they looked the same as last week's pair. Oh well not to worry as long as he keeps scoring he can celbrate how ever he likes.

Offensively we didnt do much today, but defensively we did well as a unit. I dont recall Craig actually having asave to make other than the one than almost squeezed under him, but fortunately bounced onto the roof of the net) - the closest Morecambe came was that error by James Smith where the ball was played across the top of the 6 yard box, just in front of the forward at the far post.

 

I dont recall their keeper having a save to make either though, other than the goal.

From the side,I hadnt realised he touched it - actually thought it must have deflected off Gooding when (generally poor) ref gave corner.

 

After all the criticism of him,I think Gooding deserves a special mention today for another solid performance (and Liam mentioned it too in his post match interview).

Yeh I agree, Gooding was outstanding. Twiss was the man to watch cos he's so good but Gooding was all over him and made sure he got the ball back. Their goalkeeper was a bit.. rubbish. Couldn't kick to save his life.. but then we had Wilkerson once..

Outstanding is only slightly over stating it, I'd say he played well. Outstanding! (a word that deserves an exclamation mark) means that he cleared two of the line, set up four goals and scored a few himself.

 

He did his job and defended well. I think in defence Gooding is a good prospect and before today I didn't think he was very good attacking. Last week Bowry kept shouting at him to play it into his feet, today Scott did that more and it was good to see.
