just do a google search for "custom PC build uk" or something and shop around. failing that get Computer Shopper magazine.

 

and when you're looking for a good system get the following

1gb ram at least

3Ghz processor

17" monitor (preferably flat screen)

What is the cache all about?

ah the cache. basically it's a memory block on the processor which it uses to store additional data when processing (in a nutshell) and basically the bigger it is the faster your computer. Also, don't get integrated graphics, get a dedicated graphics card with at least 256Mb if you want to run the last batch of decent PC games. but for football manager, more RAM is what you want and 1gb should be good
