Seats in the Plough End

I had the misfortune of going to a Charlton ladies game a few weeks back and not only had a bloke put a camping chair up down the front of the Stonbridge Road terrace, it looked like he had brought a bloody picnic with him as well, thermos flask, the lot! I obviously haven't leant from my mistakes as I went once last year as well. There I saw a bloke with a matching, home-knitted red & white scarf and bobble hat and one of those wooden rattles that were banned years ago because people were hitting each other with them. They're caught in a time warp, I tell you.

Wouldn't that take a certain amount of skill, though? Whirring the rattles through 360 degrees ensuring on each revolution that you've slapped the other fella squarely in the face. I think it could catch on again...

Could we not employ 500 seaside donkeys ( What do they do in the winter) to walk along the terraces with punters on their back.

Surely no one would complain at paying a few extra quid for the privilege of watching their footie from the comfort of a seat on a back of donkey.

The kids would be coming down Stonebridge Road in droves, so two jobs solved. We have the extra 500 seats and we are building the future fan base.

There's already 4 or 5 asses whio stand in front of the club shop each week berating every player who wears a red shirt.

When Charlie scored last week one stupid old goat STILL moaned. I told him less than politely that I bet that wiped the smile off his face.

My mate Greg was less polite than I telling him to F off to the away end or don't bother coming back.

That finally shut him up.

BTW he's the ugly old fella with a dirty light grey coat and cloth cap.

Easy to spot in a crowd - he's the one moaning when we are winnimg!
