Seeing Stimmo's pic above brings back memories of that wonderful evening in Canvey when the fat man climbed the floodlight pylons, Mr Stimson tried to take Matt Lee's legs off at the waist, naked beer gutted ballet dancers performed for the crowd during the unscheduled break & Jacko & the Duke saw off the caravan boys in style.

 

For total psychos, how about Dave Ward? With us briefly late 80s, early 90s? About 5'10" slightly built, but absolute head case. Got sent off, for what proved the final time, during a Tuesday night game. I was sitting behind Lionel Ball, who remarked that he'd never play for us again. He didn't & no one was sorry.

 

Much more engaging character, but how about another midfielder of fiery temperament, Mr Wayne Schweizo?
