DIRECTIONS:

By road (avoiding Town Centre) -

Take the A12 to the junction with Whalebone Lane North (Moby Dick Pub), then turn south onto A1112 (Whalebone Road North - towards Dagenham). At the Becontree Heath traffic lights, follow signs towards Romford by turning left into Wood Lane, then take first exit at roundabout (A124 towards Romford - Wood Lane again, becoming Rush Green Road ). The Ford Sports Stadium is approx. half a mile along the A124, on the left.

 

By Train:

Nearest National rail station is Romford (Travelcard Zone 6 - Great Eastern line, served by trains from Liverpool Street, Southend Victoria, Chelmsford, etc.) (CLICK HERE for timetable). Leave the station and turn right, crossing the road to bus stop 'T' near the Goose pub. From this stop, buses 87 (towards Barking), 103 (towards Rainham) and 175 (towards Dagenham) pass the Ford Sports Ground. (Alternative bus: 128 (towards Ilford) from stop 'ZB' in the bus station, opposite the Goose pub).

 

By Underground:

Nearest Underground stations are Dagenham East or Dagenham Heathway (District Line - Travelcard Zone 5).

From Dagenham East, take bus 103 (towards North Romford) from outside the station direct to Ford Sports Ground.

From Dagenham Heathway, turn left outside station and take bus 175 (towards North Romford) from stop 'B' direct to Ford Sports Ground

 

By Bus:

The Ford Sports Stadium is served by the following bus services:

87: Romford - Barking

103: North Romford - Rainham

128: Romford - Ilford

175: North Romford - Dagenham

499: Becontree - Gallows Corner

Not really Zods. I found that when I put the collar and lead on them and took them out for a drag, they became quite unappetising! What's more, if it was raining they had a tendency to fall apart!
