He must be the worst player i have ever seen pull on a canvey shirt! his toch is awful his crossing is poor and he just looks like he cant be botherd to play! last nite proved all of this, when players like keeling come on and really want to play makes him look even worse cant believe he took keelings place at the start of the season!

I think its a bit harsh saying that he is the worst player to wear a canvey shirt do agree with you about he performance last night. Just didnt look botherd and when he had the ball, done nothing with it.

 

Now Keelo is back he is going to have to show better attitude and performance than last night if he ever wants to get back in the starting line up.

i dont rate him my self as i would rather have in my team some 1 with slightly less ablilty but twice as much eagerness

He does not work, he backs out of tackles, he never seems to have an end product at the end of a run, he never wins headers, he only plays the ball that he thinks will make him look good, he rarely runs, he is constantly out of position.

 

Apart from that he is OK.

Really though you would have thought he had the brains to grasp an opportunity to learn from people like Bimson & Keeling.

I don't honestly feel Clarke is good enough for this level. Had a couple of good games at Aldershot but from what I heard rarely produced the goods.

He's not had a great season, but I'm confident he can turn it around with time. Maybe a player who would benefit from going out on loan.

How much did Canvey pay for Clarke? I have to say that it seems although he is a very skillful player, he does seem to go missing a lot and has looked out of his depth in the games I have seen him play this season.

Neil Midgley was a pretty decent player for sure. I was sorry when Canvey let him go at the end of last season and although I know he went to Kettering this year, it doesn't seem he has been in the team this year. Does anybody know if he is still actually at Kettering?

I'm going to stick up for Midge too. As I said on a post a while ago when someone had a dig at him, we never played him in position. He was playing wing back, when his position is just behind the strikers.

 

The others however have been a bit poo.

Was sad to see Midgely go aswell but kettering are playing him in his preferd position and he is scoring goals. Sky sports news showed his goal against stevenage in the FA Cup.
