At the end of the game on Saturday I heard an announcement about a Poker evening being organised. Does someone have any more info on this,as I would be interested.

I believe it is a poker evening to be held every thursday night, from 8th of December. Admission i believe is 5 pounds,you will play for points and these will go into a league system. there was mention of a Margate champion. I did have some leaflets but have already handed them all out to interested parties. Sounds like a good and relatively cheap way to play competitive poker.

just need to be there for 7pm on the 8th to register, have spoken with ross who is running it and that was the info he gave me, i have bout 5 people interested and will certainly be there!!

Just got another poster. The game is Texas hold-em. Starts thursday the 8th,7-00 to 10-30,play starts 7-30. Free membership(5 pound entrance fee).Poker with no gambling. You play for points in a league-not money. Weekly tables of your current ranking will be provided. play for fun and glory. Play in the Kent amature poker league.
