This may already have been discussed but i believe that we need to get into Slough high street in the run up to xmas and hand out more fixture lists, the shops will be busier than ever and it may be a good way off attracting a few new fans. We could really do with getting in there AT LEAST one weekend leading up to xmas/in the january sales.

FYI the game v Harrow is being push as a charity fun raising event for cancer reasearch and they have special tickets for the game and people trying to get extra people/supporters into the ground for this fixture on 10th dec 2005.

 

We ask supporters to attend this match especially so we can raise money for such a worthy cause.and to show Slough town is a part of the community trying to do its best for others while suffering its self.

 

Collections and a half time blanket collection will also be arranged on the day.

Chris S, two things. Firstly, why isn't an official press release forthcoming from either the club or the trust regarding this? This could then be distributed out to not only the Observer, but all the other local press & radio stations to publicise this properly, rather than a message on here.

 

And as for the original suggestion, a great idea, but certainly the way we're playing at the moment, we don't want to scare people away into not coming back!

yes did think of that but IMO this is the best time of year to go for it, i would definately volunteer to help out if the trust were to go for it

hi there all sorry i was unable to make the bromley (first missed game for a long while and at a cost) game went to a friends funeral on the wednesday and very busy leading up to the weekend with things and fed up with public transport not running properly felt not able to make it but if all goes well and a bit of juglling with things see some of you at the race night tommrow and almost cirtainly the harrow game on saturday take care
