In the Berko programme and in the local paper Jim stated that he expected a tough game against Berko, BUT, we had played them a few weeks ago, SO WE KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT and therefore one must assume that Jim had a plan to beat them again.

Clearly not.

On the evidence of the tactics employed Jim did not have a clue.

The Berko number 5 is 6ft 6 in at least....so what tactics shall we employ...you got it....high balls to our 5ft 6in forwards.

Why oh why not balls along the floor and round their flat, poor back line ?

As I have stated before, the current Town team is far too lightweight and lack basic skill.

With the greatest respect to Berko....they are bottom of the league and now have just one away win !

Town need to step it up at home or the support, as yesterday in the final 10 minutes, will leave.

Exactly,

You have to start playing the ball on the ground and the players have to realise that they have to move themselves to get to the ball.

Too many of them are standing waiting for the ball to arrive and are surprised when an opposition player steps in front of them.

It's all about being alert and wanting the ball too many ETFC players dont look like they want the ball.

Steady on you lot you are in your first season in this level of football and youve got to be honest and say that youve done alright so far. One or two bad results do happen from time to time thats life Im afraid, Dont knock your team , I 'd swap our place with you anytime.

Fair comment, but it is not all about results.
I think the Town fans would accept some losses, after all as you say we are in a new higher league and certainly did not / cannot expect to win every game. Our home record proves this and it is our away form that keeps us in the top five.
No, it is more about the way we are playing.
If you read the various threads every week they are not complaining about a defeat, they are moaning about the style of play and the poor finishing, which should be just working the keeper - even if we do not score.
Perhaps it is just frustration because we are used to seeing good finishing.
Time will tell and as they say - where you are in the League table at the end of season is what it is all about.
