Plough End?

At the risk of being repetitive - what the hell is happening with the Plough End? Seems like ages ago we got the grant sorted and we still ain't done any more work on it. I bet the people who gave us the grant are wondering if we've pulled a fast one lol.

 

Any update on the situation would be good, considering the last update was that work was going to begin soon. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> Can't see it getting done over the xmas period so are we looking at the new year now?

Last home game I was talking to a few in the club house and they reckon that we were waiting on a new lease for the ground first. Then when we get that we will be able to start work.

Now where on earth would they have got that idea from?

agreed stu but it's still great news that the club have a ground for 20 yrs even tho the club are looking at a possibilaty at new ground.

Does this mean that the plough end should be reterraced soon? Now we have the grant and the new lease we were waiting for then I would assume that it should be given the go-ahead??

The best part is surely that Land Securities have waived the rent ! I should imagine that has quite a considerable bonus impact on the clubs finances.

Great news about the lease.

So now, either the design changes haven't yet been approved, or the work on the terrace can begin as soon as possible.

 

That'll allay Altrincham fans' concerns about our inadequate and at present '2,000-capacity' ground. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
