The last female ref we had at Newport was a fekin disaster, she didn't have a clue and couldn't keep control.

 

However, the atmosphere won't be as hostile as 1200 sheep shaggers....

We had one away to Hereford this season and she was awful. Our local journalist got accused of being a "sexist pig" for slagging her off in the local rag.

To be fair PM at Newport last year we had AlisonChapman and she was out of her depth, couldn't womanage at all, but when we was in Ryman, I think it was Div 1 N, at Wembley, she was A1, we beat em 4 0, Danny C scored and Dmitri, god bless his soul was there.

So I think they all meet their level.

have to agree with Unc. It's the same woman who actually reffed one of our games earlier this season (she was meant to be lino, but ref got injured and she took over)

Worst EVER performance I have seen (I kid you not) and that is saying something, with some of the ESL refs we have !!!!!!!

It has naff all to do with it..Second biggest crowd in the league this season, Saturday before Christmas, soppy tart as ref..recipe for disaster.

could be a very volatile game..big crowd..a game both sides want to win more than any other..a local darby..lots of banter riding on it..ex rumford fans now wanting a afc win..and the essex senior league in there wisdom put a female ref in the middle..WOT A LOAD OF BOLL O X S..MAYBE THE REFS SECRETARY NEEDS LOOKING AT..

 

this could only happen in the essex senior league..yes we need refs and linos and lets hope she has a good game..this is not a sexist rant but come on

you'll get no joy there mate..they've already been complaining about UU's sexist remarks in this respect...

 

if they had ever played a game of football or officiated at a game this would never have happened...I have seen this lady in a 'real game' (almost a friendly and didn't matter) LC game and she was panicking like fck and making daft decisions as a lino let alone a ref..........

 

god knows what will happen when the eastside get in her face after a few poor decisions...

 

its a joke beyond belief with players at risk of silly bookings and injury...

horse's for course's and all that i know.. but if she was the lino in our league cup game at tilbury then god help us and rumford..i hope beyond hope she has a good game and i hope there are no silly mistakes given to either side..

 

it just make's me so mad when the so called officer's from the league cannot see that a strong ref for this game is needed..

 

if on the 17th after the game the lady in question has had a good game i will be the 1st person on here saying sorry..

the best ref I have seen this season is the young little blonde haired guy who did the hullbridge game...not intimidated by the fans or the players and always up with the flow of the game...

 

he should be in charge of the romford game...

totally agree with that, very fair and sensible ref, fact nobody mentioned anything about him or his decisions after the game showed he had a good game.

i think a lady referee should be quite a laugh, lets see if she comes out for the 2nd half after biased bob has a word...
