I doubt anything ever by the Darkness can really be called quality.

They are just a piss take of a rock band IMO..nothing more nothing less.

You might as well buy a Spinal Tap album...at least they were funny.

Track 2 'Knockers' is my fave.

 

You're right about them though, but I quite enjoy the 'let's think of a situation and write a song about it' way of The Darkness.

Just because their music is no longer relevant in a Timberlake/Robbie/Aguilera world, doesn't mean to say that they're not bloody good musicians, and it doesn't mean to say they they don't rock.

Personally, I think they're a breath of fresh air. Saw 'em at Reading just as they were going huge and had a huge grin on my face from start to finish, which is exactly what you want from a band.
