Wasnt he with them when they were called ford utd for a brief spell. I recollect him playing for ford v e's at borehamwood about 3years ago. Someone pointed him out to me as an enfield town player.

Not really my business, but i knew after the game you had at Redbridge as Brad lives in Cheshunt and talks to his neighbours.

So no suprise there.

But as I understand it he felt he needed more chances in the 1st team than he was getting at Enfield, so I think you should all wish him good luck.

This is getting stupid. Nyman,Valendia,Kojo, Brotherton <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />.Baldwin and Smith will not be far behind. We are losing quality players because they can't get regular starts.Whilst some players at Town are playing consistantly poorly and still getting starts EVERY WEEK.No wonder those on the sidelines have become disillusioned.

 

New players come straight into the side without having to work for a place.Whilst players that have stuck with us for years, who never let us down,and who helped us win the league,are not given a fair go. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

I knew the 7 days was in so no surprise Brad went to Redbridge. Brad's got a passion for the game and he has matured nicely as a daddy too. Every good wish to you Brad great servant of the Town over the years.

 

Managers do what Managers do. Players do what they think is best for their future. I understand we lost a youth player to Notts County recently. That is as they say being part of a living vibrant club. When they do not come knocking after players is when we have to worry cos people then think we don't have anybody of interest. Players want to play it is the old old issue.

 

Why does Fenny have to keep going after town players? Shows he has the confidence in Jim's judgement of quality though. Will Redbridge be the second Enfield team in exile? Fenn, Riley, Simon Miller, Nyman and Brotherton.

Have to agree with LS. It is my view that Brad was the best attacking midfield player at the club who could also, if needed, cover at the back. He made foolish errors but so does everyone. He always seemed to have time on the ball but sometimes took too much.

 

I find it very sad when a player of such quality feels he has to go in order to get a game. Wish you the best of luck Brad and may your career continue to be successful.

Well this just proves that Jim Chandler did have quality in his squad and players that could all

do a job for him.Unless he gets some new faces in the squad,we will end up a mid-table team by the end of the season{hope not though}.Nyman has not gone Redbridge,he scored for Ilford on sat!!

Riley has not gone either,i think he is injured?

All I can say is best wishes to Brad for the future. I agree that he was one of the best attacking midfielders we have had and he is also someone who has done well to improve his discipline on the pitch over the last couple of years. Shannon will be upset that one of her favourite players has gone!

 

All players want to play as much as possible and this just proves how much we need a reserve side for next season. I know it costs and I fully appreciate that the board did all they could to get one going this season. However, please can we try again for 2006/7.

Brad did not do very well on his debut for Redbridge FC on Tuesday evening in the 5 nil defeat against AFC Wimbledon. He was sent off after receiving 2 yellow cards!!!

As everyone seems to have no problems beating Redbridge, puts our result into perspective doesn't it.
Still, we can always sign another Defender I suppose.

funny the town had so much choice of quality and now looks like they could struggle, start of the season we had purcell,valandra,kojo,stevenson,riley,nyman,baldwin and howard

 

we are not even at xmas and we are looking to sign more players, if players were playing on merit maybe some of the players would stay to try and get a shirt
