This started out as a small post on the ryman general forum and it just kept getting longer - It's the FIRM's FA CUP preview/predictions.

We get AFC Sudbury away - the place is tiny, we're taking loads with us and I'm sure we'll play up, they seem worried already. They may only play in the Jewson Eastern leauge but they are unbeaten and that leauge is a good standard, why only last week the best team in non-leauge football complete with fab new manager (if you belive their own press) Bedford lost to the inbreds of Wisbeach from that leauge.

I should imagine we'll nick it though, maybe a replay!

 

Shots play D&R - In a ideal world, I'd like to see them both out, big crowd - D&R after a replay.

 

Ricky away to Havent - well isn't half your team suspended after your Braintree experiance? Havant win, just!

 

Stortford v Wooooooood - pretty dull encounter I should imagine, it'll go to penaltys after a replay with the most incompitant team losing from the spot - Thats The Woooooooood out then!

 

Slough v Canvey - Slough seem to think they'll win this, They won't!

 

Hereford v Arlsley - Isn't it funny these teams are even playing each other, It won't be at 4.45 on saturday when Arlsley return home after a sound thrashing!

 

Horsham v Team Bath - Well after all the hype this Bath team is getting I think They will atually win the comperition outright, One point as a college team does all this prize money get split between to the players or does the college get it? - Team bath will win anyway and then that's all we'll see in the papers and on the TV in the 1st Round previews.

 

Forest Green Rovers v Ford Utd - Please please please win Ford, I hate FGR, I'm even prepared to give you 3 leauge points towards your relegation battle if you do (not sure if I can legally do that). On the basis that Ford really want them 3 points I'll go for them after a replay, I would also love to see a Ford Utd v Vauxhall Motors 1st Round match.

 

Flackwell Heath v Crawley Town - Can lightning strike twice after the win over irrelevent Purfleet - No, away win!

 

Grays v Stevenage - There can be no doubt Grays have a talented squad, they'll prove it by kicking out Citys most hated team, By the way to the Grays Soul Crew boys - Boro said you were all poofs who couldn't fight yourselves out of a wet paper bag!

 

Molesley v Farnborough - With the fantastic home support and the massive away following this ground will be packed to the rafters to see Farnborough win!

 

Heybridge v Bideford, I hope Bideford win as it'll be a good weekend out in the 1st round at a team you can beat to progress to the 2nd round. They will after a replay.

 

This wasn't meant to be a full blown preview but it's become one!

Rather then everyone doing the same (you can if you want) you could just predict the teams that you think will be in the 1st Round, I'm going for - St.Albans City, Bishops Sortford, Canvey Island, Ford Utd and Grays.

I thought the FA Cup now had a shoot-out (if required) at the end of the first replay. Or are you suggesting that there might be an abandonment or two?
