For anyone interested in his 'career history' i came across this in some programme notes for Weston v hornchurch last year.

(charlie made a 20 minute subs appearance in that game and i remember him looking lively(more lively than on saturday but it was a nice sunny day)

 

Signed for Hornchurch in Dec04.Charlie has come from Nottingham Forest.Charlie also played for Welling and Crystal Palace (apparently).

Charlie Taylor left before Hornchurch problems last year as he was well down the pecking order.I think he went to Dulwich.

He arrived at Hornchurch via Charlton.

So what did you Urchins think of him in his limited appearances.

Looked useful in pre season scoring 2 or 3 in Ireland tour.At that time Hornchurch had some good attacking options in Kirk Jackson,Wayne Purser,Danny Shipp ,Jean Michel Sigere and Andy Douglas.He Started the season proper on the bench and limited to a couple of 10 minute appearances off the bench.Then i think he picked an injury and realised that his opportunities were limited and left the club by mutual concent.He looked like he had a lot of pace but i do not think we saw his best when with us.
