According to the offical site, our home game against Dagenham & Redbridge on Boxing Day has now been forwarded to a 1pm Kick off.

Personally, it would have been nice to have seen the match switched to the 27th, as has been done by our Essex neighbours.

Boxing Day is traditionally a "football day" though - and its far better, I believe, to have a home game on Boxing Day and the reverse fixture on New Years Day, than the other way round.

 

Reckon we should (hopefully) get between 2000 and 2500 for the game unless one or both teams have a run of poor results in the interim

FF - boxing day is a traditional football day.....part of English heritage. They used to play on Christmas day & Boxing day up until the late 50's........what would the overpaid premiership luvvies have made of that ?? They probably would want double time.....tough old life a ?

 

CG - don't worry about me driving......I don't drive....that's what god gave us legs for ( walking that is !)
