Appreciation of our Support

In tonight’s Echo Gary again acknowledges the excellent volume of Support we gave the team on Saturday at St Albans. Thanks Gary, it’s appreciated, and thanks George for bringing the lads over to at the final whistle. After a hard 90 minutes they deserved their rest, but your acknowledgement of us all behind the goal (who I might add all made the trip under our own steam- no freebies for this one) was a great gesture.

Gary calls for more of the same support tonight. I’ll be trying my damdest, but single voices are pretty pathetic. I recall in his old supporters club programme notes Night-time Neil asking why the atmosphere was rarely raised at New Lodge week in week out. Well let’s now do something about it. I call for No More Passive Support at Home, if your make your voice heard away make sure you do the same at New Lodge. Let’s also take the opportunity tonight to practice for Saturday, the coach is all but full so we’re assured of a large travelling choir. In the wind and rain tonight’s game will be no push over. Do we want to see The Town at the Top of the Table or not?
