Ramsgate "thugs" in todays NLP

Interesting couple of letters in todays edition of the NLP. I don't suppose it's available in Ramsgate

Yes There was another article in Fridays edition. Comments about the lack of Police and stewarding at the ground. It stated that the trouble was from "Ramsgate supporters". Its ok them saying that they are as good as us, but they have a long way to go yet to become a more professional outfit.

Don't speak too soon. Apparently these individuals intend to come to Margate-AFCW masquerading as 'Margate thugs'.

 

It is to be hoped the stewards and/or police can ID them before they get in.

 

The three letters all make points about lack of effective stewarding and segregation, including at AFC's home ground.

 

I find it surprising that people are so quick to criticise stewards as over-reacting when there is any trouble. The alternative is far worse: back to the bad old days of the 70s when families were too scared to attend matches.

I think we should forget about these pillocks, we know there could be a threat against wimbledon, the club abd everyone are aware of it

 

This for thug is like hero status, lets just forget them,

 

Wimbledon will be a top game, of course with that many away supporters you will get a few on the beer, but have we not seen this b4

I assume the Wimbledon game will be midweek now, so that will hit the number of fans they bring.

As for the twat.s who caused trouble, they have no connection with Ramsgate FC and just do it to get attention.

I pray to God the Wimbledon game is mid-week. Cant make Saturday games.
