As it is expected to have a good turnout for this match. Does anyone know what the record turnout is for an ESL match?

 

Whatever it is I am sure we will be able to smash it and set a record to stand for many years.

Brentwood v Witham in the league cup in the mid 70s - the crowd was estimated at 3500 (this could not be confirmed since Brentwood's ground was not enclosed at Larkins Field) - it marked the debut for Brentwood of Jimmy Greaves.

 

This apart, the only club to consistently record gates of 800 plus was Billericay - their match at Bowers in the Vase had a gate of 1880 (a record for Bowers).

 

Concord's record is 800 (FA Sunday Cup against Leigh Chapel North).
