Tine to start playing

As a Slough fan it is disturbing to see W&E in the bottom 2.

For Slough your relegation could cause problems:

1. If you are in a different leauge it could make sheduling of games a problem if we continue to share the ground with you.

2. I dont want to have to go to Staines or Hampton on boxing day and easter monday.

3. It would also mean we would miss out on the 6 points a season that you give us in return for the rent!

But seriuosly - the local rivalry between the clubs would be lost and this is important at this level of football.

Please W&E start winning your games and get out of the bottom 3 - but not the games against Slough!

Gary, you say it wouldn't be a problem but look how many Monday and Friday evening games Wealdstone are playing. I'm not privy to the information but it may well be that the Southern League get a bit funny over their fixtures and Ryman fixtures and the chances are we will be in the Southern league if we get relegated!

Unfortunately we seem to be suffering from 'Peter Crouch Syndrome' at the moment as, once again, we had some really easy chances to win the game yesterday but still couldn't find the net from six yards out - if you don't score you don't win and that is the crux of our problem at the moment. Don't panic though as we're only 32 points behind the leaders [with a game in hand LOL] and I'm sure we'll turn the corner fairly soon with the introduction of new players and the return of injured players in key positions.

Woody you can be such a muppet sometimes, If I didn't believe it I wouldn't have posted it!

We'll allow your negativity and put it down to the innocence of youth but when you've followed the non-league game for a number of years you begin to realise what's right and wrong with a team. Fundamentally there's nothing major wrong with the side at the moment other than missing a 2nd striker who can put in the same amount of effort as Wallace does. We have desperately missed Jon Case's pace on the right and James Edgerley's introduction on the left yesterday looked very promising. A few more tweaks in certain positions by Dave will, no doubt, see a change in fortunes sooner rather than later!

Sunday fixtures would do me fine. There's always people on the lookout for a match to go to on a Sunday and in the past, we've had better gates for the Sunday matches.

The local residents will object to regular Sunday fixtures.

Ask almost EVERY windsor fan they'd agree with me. Also how about you listen to what the players themselves are saying. Hardly fills me with confidence.

You need to be very, very careful what you're saying here Woody, if you're suggesting that players are saying they have no confidence in the club or it's management then I'm sure the directors and management would like to know who exactly these players are so they can be shown the door, as that is not the type of player we want in this situation!
As for your first comment, I probably talk to more Windsor supporters on a regular basis than you even know we've got and NOT ONE of them has suggested sacking the manager like you did recently!

On the chance that we did go down you might have Maidenhead to play next year to take our place!!!

Maidenhead is closer than Staines <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
