The inconsistency of this league

Fisher lost to Slough, AFC Wimbledon lost to Chelmsford, and Staines drew at Maldon. No disrespect to Slough, Chemlsford or Maldon, but I would expect them to have lost these matches. It proves how inconsistent this league is. A run of wins, and we could shoot up the league...

Chelmsford have signed a host of players in recent weeks though and have since had a large upturn in form. Didn't expect them to lose today, but didn't see the other results coming, ours (Slough) in particular. God knows how we won, but we did!

Gutted I didn't put a bet on us today as we were 6/1 <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> but thanks!! Really didn't see it coming, but two work experience lads from Brentford made their debut today, and obviously kicked us into life.

Yes, I do the video for the club so don't plan on missing any games! What did you make of Windsor today? Are they really that bad?

Well, I couldnt see us conceding, and I thought we were deserved winners. They were bad, but not bad enough for relegation, I feel. I think that I have already seen three worse teams in this league (Maldon, Redbridge, Harrow) than Windsor. Have you played them yet?

Yeh, I know they have had a bit of a resurgence now, but I thought they were dreadful (arguably worse than Maldon or Redbridge). They must have brought in some more players since then.

Don't think we have played Leyton this season, so can't comment.

We played Leyton quite early on and drew 0-0. Thought it was a good point at the time, but they aren't the side they were last season.

 

Redbridge & Maldon were pretty bad (we've played Redbridge 3 times now), but Windsor are supposed to be paying some of their players quite well, so would expect them at some point to get up the league, but it's good to see them struggle!

 

Harrow are perennial strugglers, but seem to have assembled a better squad this season. Still reckon they'll be down towards the bottom come the end of the season mind.

Windsor were pathetic IMO. If they stay up I am Father Christmas.
