How much longer can this go on ?

Today was woeful. Defence have done O.K. although fell asleep for the goal. WEFC have barely had a meaningful shot at goal, and their keeper has had an easy afternoon. Contribution from Spencer = zero; contribution from Gorman = zero; contribution from P.Holsgrove = zero. Cahill tries hard, but not good enough. Best midfielder Coyne got subbed; Cox got only 10 minutes. Wallace works his nuts off upfront but is by himself most of the time. Margate were a terrible team, but we still couldn't beat them! Only entertainment was sending-off near the end. Oh, and the ref was incredibly bad, too. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bawling.gif" alt="" />

i can't disagree with anything there,but i have to say that gorman was the best midfielder in the first half.the rest and him went on holiday in the second half because they werent on the pitch.

 

at least little jon has returned. our new season starts now.

Hello all. I'm sure we are all bias, but I thought we deserved the win today, couldn't see us conceding. As for the incident, our player had to go, but I cannot believe no action was taken against the W&E player. Had the ability to win a game on his own but I felt he tended to drift in and out of games. I think the Slough crowd as a whole prefers a player who will work his nuts off for ninety minutes rather than a bloke who will score a quality goal once every two months.
