I fully agree with what Raver said above however, I think Billy Holland should be given a rest for a few games. Give Burbridge a go....

Disagree PM .........We would miss his pace. He needs decent service and is not getting it at the mo. I'd like to see Lee Springer get another chance at some point though.

Don't get me wrong, he is a great player, however he and a few others have played practically every league game since Abbey and I think they should be rested for a few games.

 

Theres a notable difference from their games at the start of the season to now. We don't want them burning out before the crucial second half of the season.

 

We've got a squad big enough to do it, and it's not a weak squad either.

you do need some sort of balance in the team though,i know chelsea swap and change their side around but we are not chelsea,mind you in comparison we probably are in this league to an extent!

but i am fully behind the gaffer as always and trust he will deliver us promotion this season(and the title)

We do have a fair few strikers and Burbs has scored when he's come on as sub. Billy was injured earlier in the season and hasn't had much time to shake it off, BUT he got that crucial goal against ASDA and I would always lay money on him to bag one at important times.

 

The key thing is we keep on winning in the league, keep the defence tight and keep a distance from Barkingside who are putting a nice run together. Keeps the season nicely balanced. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/argue.gif" alt="" />

As a neutral fan I would say that as a team you are doing very well. One bad perfomance shouldn't take away from the fact that you are moving in the right direction. Private how long you been a Urchin fan?
