MM how do get the chance to make a website via tiscali and is it free?

If you get your internet from Tiscali then you can sign up for a free website on there homepage. Unfortunatley, i don't think you can use the service if your not a Tiscali customer.

Unfortunately the polls are being devalued by votes for the idiot that gets sent off. Is there a way of making them more secure?

Perhaps we should just run a MOTM thread and each registered user casts his SINGLE vote for the game. Removes the anonymity but should discourage the "spoiler". Cookie always used to know it was me voting for Rocky anyway!

 

Given the total number of votes cast on the polls is only around 20 to 30, it wont be too much of a challenge to tally up the winner. What do others think? I wasn't at the game yesterday so don't feel eligible to vote.

Has Standen got any votes then? I cant see any.I assume thats who you were talking about. Obviously only those that go to away games can really & truly vote.Unless you are there to witness it I cant see how word of mouth can make you eligible to vote,though no-ne can tell who it is thats voting. Sorry Chris but you must have been talking about the PREVIOUS poll.Is that correct? Still that shoudnt be brought up on this thread for yesterdays game unless he actualy gets a vote. He may well have earned some votes from yesterday and even the other poll before he went off he may have impressed someone. Some, somewhere out there are going to have a different view on his performances than others do so it is only correct to accept their vote despite the obvious.

Last week's poll had votes for Standen who got sent off. 2 of the first 4 votes on this week's poll were for Yiga who came on as a sub and got sent off within a few minutes. Not only that but they were on before anybody at the match would have even got home. No way are they genuine votes.

Of course.I see your point now. Yes,Yiga did in fact get sent off so falls into that catogory. However,though he was only on for a little while he may well have impressed some in that time more than others.It happens a lot.Some players do more in 10 minutes than others do in 90.Of course it could just be that some vote just because they like the player and inthat instance it is wrong to do so.Still a democratic vote it is so everyones vote,unfortunately,should be and is accepted as valid,regardless.

That's the best idea I reckon. It would also allow those with keyboard diarrhoea (like myself and Cookie) to explain our nominations.

The downside would be if the thread goes off-topic and degenerates into name-calling as some do.

I take offence at the "DIARRHOEA" tag Chris as that in implies our posts are full of S***. Although some of mine might well be, not all of them i.m.o. are. If you refer to our posts as being numerous in numbers then that could have been put better.However I take your point & am in agreement with you.

It would appear that it's only one person voting for Yiga (there is a way to have multiple votes- but i wont explain it) so i can remove multiple votes from the same IP and it wont spoil the results.
