Would like to take this opportunity to thank Tony Maynard and wish him well for the future.

I first saw TM playing for the Under 16s at the 'Ol Stadium and it was obvious that he had that little bit special around the box, no comments pls!

The next game was at Barking on a dustbowl and against a team of thugs, TM stuck two home that day, which propelled him into the Capital League team in midweek. He waltzed round the Stevenage Centre Half, who had played against Aresenal for Farnborough the year before, stuck another away and was on the bench for the first team on the Saturday.

Then of course Arlesey as ponted out by my friends above, that shirt is pride of place in the bar.

All the best Tony and also to Dave, Sue, Charlotte, Victoria, Billy and Nan and Grandad of whom I have shared many an evening and will do so in the future.
