On the transfer list, not even played a first team game yet this season. see ash has gone onloan dont think he will get a new contract at the end of this season.

Though Conroy looked v good pre-saeson, but hasn't seemed to feature at all since. Not sure why.

he will do well for them, good keeper but not gunna get a look in with danny and rich and with ricky comind through the ranks aswell

I think that the loan to Wakering is a positive one. It's gonna be good for Ash to be playing regular football again, might take a trip over and watch them one night.

 

As for Conroy, I do feel sorry for him. I think he's a player with plenty of potential, maybe he's had enough of not being given his chance. Saying that, it's hard to find a place for him at the moment as we are doing well.

Ashley was always going to struggle getting a game this season with Danny & Rich being infront of him. Hope he does well for GRW's & they have got themselves an excellent keeper and professional on thier hands for the next month.

 

Conroy looked a real good player in pre-season but what iv'e seen in the reserves and the other night against Lewes, he hasnt performed well enough to get in the 1st team. You never know, we could pick up a few injuries at the back in the next couple of weeks and he maybe used and could prove himself to be worh keeping but at the moment i dont think he is.

For someone on the list he has managed to get into the first team and played very well IMHO

I'm not sure about McGhee, though I hope he stays the season because he certainly showed his worth against FGR.

Jeff was in the Echo tonight praising McGhee`s attitude, he said he`s off the list and could earn himself a new contract if he continues to play well.

Good news about Macca. The guy has commitment by the bucket load.

 

Shame about Conroy. He seems a nice lad and would love to see him get a chance in the first team. Maybe a spell on loan to a Conference South or Ryman club would do him some good.

it is a shame about ash but a move that is certainly best for him. he is a great bloke and always seems to be willing to join in with the yellow army and a genuinely nice bloke.
