It is a sad loss, so many Teams have folded over the years, its a pity someone doesn't reform these Teams, i know some have merged with other Clubs, but it wasn't for the best was it.

I know Dagbridge have folded and Leytonstowe.

On a serious note, I recall an era of Reuben Gane when I think the keeper was Bennett. Kevin Pearce, Jimmy Hazel. Sean Adams a former boro boy, and many a former african international Reuben unearthed.

Can anyone tell me any players or managers that were at East Ham United when they were around?

Hi,my father played for East Ham United in the late 60's early 70's. His name is Ken Doughty,he was centre half no.5. I was taken along to many a home game,i remember "spud" Murphy was in goal,you also had Kenny Bowhill,Dennis Bowhill,Bobby Batt,Rod Jones,Micky Driscoll,Tony Driscoll and Alan White. I remember a certain Alan Ingram was Manager or maybe chairman.I was only between 5 and 10 years old at the time so the memory has faded somewhat! My father also played for Hornchurch,Ilford and a very good 'Sunday' side called Roman FC who played their home games at Savage Gardens opposite the Manorway ground.Hope this helps.
