In my opinion this is our most important game of the season. So far the team have lacked any of the passion and commitment that we saw from them last year and the game against Fisher is the perfect chance to set it right. I don't care if we lose, but if we can't show a little fighting spirit, organisation and drive against the league favourites then how the hell are we going to do against the lesser lights in this division? I'm looking for a performance that's all, and I hope the team does us proud on Saturday.

I would tend to agree. All I ever look for is a performance and the games I leave disappointed are not the ones where we lose but the ones where we appear not to care and just roll over.

 

I think your a bit harsh on some of our players as I am not sure you can ever accuse Josias, Hodgey, Mets, Wilko or the Skipper of lacking in passion and commitment.

To help them out, let's make it our loudest game so far this season.

There's a fine line though between showing that passion and commitment and starting rucks with your own team mates. If they're going to do it, do it together and as a team, not as individuals.

 

Let's make sure that we do our bit off the pitch as well and not just turn up and play mute.

I feel the fans commitment is definitely a result of the players commitment though, so its a vicious circle at the moment

I actually think, probably foolishly, we can get something out of this game IF we manage not to concede in the first 20-25 minutes - keep it tight and settle into the game. It'll be a physical game too, so the boys will need to prepare for that.

 

Then again, I did predict 5-2 to Fisher in the prediction game so I hope I'm well and truly wrong there!

A few of us are going to Denmark Hill (bit further away), but you get to it from Victoria.

 

East Dulwich is on the London bridge line.

 

Trains leave either station about every 10 minutes or so.
