good workmanlike performance tonight and a good working 3-5-2 formation from the bench that took the sting out of the eton manor tail...

 

the first goal...(better now I've seen it again than it looked live) took the head of steam orf 'em and the second was one of the best team goals this season...top drawer...

 

they played well and tried to play footie so full marks for that and a nice bunch of guys as well...two excellent players in the nippy little striker and the right back....and playing for each other as well...No 11 wants to calm down a bit...the tackle was dodgy but I've seen worse and I thought the ref was lenient with him as he carried on and on and on..................

 

good solid urchin performance and well done all the lads and the fans as well who braved the cold and co-operated with the fckn silly fire drill...wot the fck was that all about... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

 

great 3 points and onwards as WA slipped up in front of their 20 odd fans.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

daylight can be seen but not heard..... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

exactly right sid but we have the opportunity to see them off in two weeks time and slip them as well....yes they're playing well it would seem and fair play to them but they haven't met us yet or WA or BR so we'll see what they're made of when those fixtures come around.. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

just had a blimp and b/side have BR and then us in a week..that should sort things out a bit....

Agree with comments above and certainly the 3 5 2 format surprised me, wonder if the Soham guy was there like he was last Saturday.

Anyway, yes the Manor were a bit competitive, but there's no harm in that, the no.17 had 3hours grace on a glass of coke and yes he did cough up, well done fella and good banter as well.

I thought the new format worked as we had two "liberos" in midfield, which keeps all sides guessing as to how we will line up.

The lino on the Riverside was concentrating more on the bench than the play, why?

So another 3 points and look forward to Soham on Saturday, any guesses at the attendance?
