I always thought the Prediction League was guessing what you think the score would be?

Am I wrong? Perhaps I should just blindly go for a St Albans win every single week like various other people do.

When I won it two years ago (well, Laz won it, but only cos I quit in the March when I was 15 points clear), it was because I was about the only person putting us down for defeats, despite the fact we were utter toilet* under Steve Castle.

How many goals will we score: 0. (Tough one that).

 

Who will score: no scorer.

 

What will the result be: a defeat obviously.

 

The only challange was guessing how many more people would be driven away by the previous toilet* performance.

The prediction I go for will make no difference to how the team perform on Saturday, so any positivity would count for nothing.

 

Me, I'm realistic. It's why I've been top three for the past two years (despite only doing 75% of the season on both occasions), and I'm after the coveted title of Scarfer Of The Year from Laz this season.

 

Besides, if you win, I think Rob buys you a pint!

I think you'll find I've been top scarfer by far over the last two seasons, Zealster!

Only because I had a tantrum two years running and stopped entering by the Spring!

 

I was beating you in both up to that point!

 

And in 2003/04, I was top in March having played ten less games than anyone else!!
