My only memory of Woodford Town was about 5 years ago , i was watching flanders play for southend Manor against Woodford and they had a striker who had an absolute peach of an afro ( replica of John barnes's one v brazil 1984) and he wore the tightest shorts that even Stuart Pearce would have been proud of !!!

I think the Snake Lane East ground is still there although the Clubhouse and stands have been demolished.

By the way, according to the league website, the official attendance at Eton Manor v Burnham on Saturday was 8 (yes, eight). I think that says it all, really.
