Mr D took charge of his first Coca Cola game last weekend. Southend V Swansea. Booked 7 (including Bentley). Some Shrimper fans in my office said he was awful and 'out of his depth'. Southend Message Borad none to complimentary either.

 

Lets hope we never see him again in the Conf. and that prat Ray Lee also gets promoted !

I think you will fine that it was not his 1st game I saw him at Leyton orient earlier in the season

On the line or in the middle ? This was billed as his first game in the middle.

Ah but they did. Check out the Southend website, their fans were making that very point. Obviously, the worse you are the higher you go in the Football League.

Does it really matter ? He is still a [****!!****] and hopefully it makes it on to the FIFA list and referees Germany against Argentina in the 2006 World cup finals !

For the uninitiated, Ray is a League ref....so must know what he is talking about where other refs are concerned !!

Despite his past form, Mr. Lee didn't do too badly on Saturday actually (a curious incident where he overruled one of his linesmen on a decision that was right in front of said assistant aside).

Correct Ray,it was-he has had 8 league 2 games this season.Last season he had 11 conf games (inc Canvey away & Dag away inv'g GNFC ) In 03/04 8 conf games ( inc Woking away & Aldershot Home ).Ive seen him and he is erratic,the more cards you issue the quicker the esculator to the top.
