Anybody want to do an interview for BBC Radio Berkshire

Hi guys,

I've just had a call from somebody who works for BBC Radio Berkshire, hoping that I may be interested in doing a short interview with them tomorrow morning to talk about the Making Slough Happy programme from the perspective of a Slough resident.

As I am already involved with the programme and they want somebody with a more neutrel point of view they asked me if I knew of anybody else who might be interested in taking part.

It would be during the breakfast show tomorrow morning between 7.30 and 7.45 with Andrew Peach. What you would have to do is watch the Making Slough Happy programme tonight and talk about it with the presenter.

If anybody is interested in doing this, please contact me and I will pass on the details of the person to contact. Either send me a PM or leave a message here.

Don't be shy.

Just get him to read "that" poem....it will sum it up in a nutshell for all of us I think!

Yours

Osgood Isgood

Born and bred in Sluff, now recamped to Ayrshire cos I can't stand what my home town has become owing to a policy of letting ill educated economic migrants in without any questions asked whatsoever!

Please don't say that's racist it's not...just a reality!

That should get me the popular vote!!

Unfortunately I will be unable to do that although I shall be watching the programme. It is a getting a lot of publicity as it is a "featured programme" in all the TV listings, Charlie Brooker talked about it in the Guide's Screenburn and Veronica Puglia and one of the "experts" were interviewed on BBC Breakfast this morning.

Indeed - he took the piss out of the techniques employed (some of them are a bit happy clappy for my taste) but ended up saying they would probably work and it certainly generates interest in the programme.

Juts watched it off Sky Plus. Excellent stuff being the first one interviewed at the start. Most worryingly though my mum recognised you straight away and she's only ever seen you twice. You must stand out a bit!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Good work, looking forward to next week.

P.S. The older Richard is a comedic legend!!!

Brighton Rebel.

You miss the words "ill educated"...which was a round-a-bout way of saying non articulate, non english speaking and of a cultural background which is totally alien to the British way of life and more importantly people who have no intention whatsoever of embracing British values. I've moved to Ayrshire and I have already started wearing a skirt drinking heavily and putting a chip on my shoulder every time I leave the door!

p.s.

Strokestown in Eire does not fit into the above stereotype of unwelcome migrants!

The older Richard is a mentalist of the highest order. Even the way he spoke put my teeth on edge. The experts came across as nutters whilst the volunteers seemed the voice of reason. Nice to see so much of Slough on the telly and it was certainly the Mighty Mullet on the front page of the Observer.
