True Harry, nothing to get too upset about but last season your first XI just edged past our first XI at your place. Now our first XI gets thumped by your reserves (albeit with a sprinkling of first teamers) not exactly progress is it?

Gary, I spoke to Kevin near the end and he informed me that James Dean or whoever he was turned up with a knock and went home at half time. Saying that it did seem very poorly organised last night (where was Alan Judge) and it must be frustrating for the normal reserve players who played, by all accounts, well against Hitchin to get through and then get dumped for this match and the first team screw it up anyway.

 

In response to your Woody comments, I saw him having a barney with Daly at one point but that was about it, was there other stuff after or before that?

 

Finally, if that three at the back was being trialled for the first team then I think that idea can be scrapped nice and quickly. Maybe Daly, Lovegrove and Ballard/Paget?
