Presume you mean the feathered variety and diseases such as bird flu? I may be as thick as a whale omelette and I admit that I have never heard of writing and arithmetic but even I know that Reading is in Berkshire. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

As for the ratboys, I think you should be ok as long as you don't swim in the water that they have been p*ss*ng in....so stay clear of telephone boxes and lifts.
