The Supporters team v Aldershot!

We lost 8-1 which is very good considering we only turned up with 6 players. Aldershot gave us two of theirs and then as the game went on more and more people turned up and the numbers were eventually made up.

 

We had the infamous goalkeeper that played against Canvey which probably helped keep the scoring down.

 

The match was refereed by a bloke stood in the middle smoking, ie better than Amy Raynor.

 

When we scored we did the Easy <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/excited.gif" alt="" /> Easy <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/excited.gif" alt="" /> Easy <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/excited.gif" alt="" /> chant that I normally hate. We were 7-1 down.

As it goes I was available for selection this week, but was unaware a game was going on.

Hi Wayne,

 

I ask players that had formerly played for the team. When I woke up on Saturday morning I thought we would have a fall team, when we all met at Stonebridge Road I only had six players.

 

It was an error on my part and I should have asked on here for more people to play in order for us to have cover but I didn't think anyone else would want to play. I have learnt from this and it won't happen again.

 

JC, I left the pitch thinking it was 7-1, I met one of the Aldershot players in the bar and he confirmed the score was 8-1.
