Atmosphere at HDP and coffin end

I note over the past week concern from various fans over lack of shouting for the team, and also fear of the cold.

Maybe a bit hypocritical of me to comment on this as don't get to too many home games, but for interest i went to see FGrovers v Canvey yesterday.

There were a mere 30 frozen Canvey supporters there, but they had 4 drums with them.

A few speak of the isolated Dagenham drummer-distant memories these days, but Canvey had very few supporters but 4 guys banging a drum.

They kept it up from start to finish.

The atmosphere made by so few was incredible.Even the FGR supporters joined in with them in the end.

Now i'm pretty impssionate, and it would take alot for me to sing and chant at my age, but the brazilian carnival atmosphere created by so few on a cold day and usual rubbish game , was incredible.Even i would join in and bounce up and down to keep warm, so if i can be , i'm sure others would.

Maybe Misa could do worse than invest in 4 drums, keep them at the ground and bring out on matchdays.

Believe me, the difference between one poor sole drummer and 4 guys 'banging away' for 90 minutes (if only) was totally infectious.

For those of you into this sort of thing-you do not need clever songs .As in most successful things-Keep it simple- just bang ,clap and jump.

It works
