good to see so many opinions on the game and our squad...all opinions count....that's what footie is all about....our opinion is positive...we have an excellent management team and a very strong squad of players whicvh allows Mick to vary things on the pitch...look at our position...look at the injuries that we have had and look at the potential when all the players are fit and have played several games together.....in our opinion...Mick has not played his first choice tam as yet this year...should be interesting to see what happens in due course....On another note...the bad language has to stop...we have an open registration forum and its a good one for the most part.....we think that the crap is mostly from other jealous fans but all be warned..if it doesn't stop...the administrator will be instructed to change the Forums to registered entries only and that would identify all posters....if you don't want that...don't spoil it for yourslves...keep the bad language off the Forums......for those of you that know who has posted this...you will know that I will do what I say...No bad language.....bottom line...come on you real Urchins get behind the whole club...

Looks like he was right then you must be a child, because if your still drinking in the Cherry tree you must be under 18, anyone who still goes in that dive after the age of 18(and 1 day) must have a mental health warning! (especially if they go on a friday and saturday night)

 

To the rest of you all trying to come up with your best teams, the trouble is with that is that the players with the bigger profiles will automaticlly start every game.

 

Here are the players who will start every game whatever peformance they put in:

Taff

 

Obviously you have to put a keeper with these other NINE names, which now makes 10 players picked automaticlly! so it now looks like there are about 8-15 players looking for the last position!

the man in question did look very nervous against Aveley but he still controlled Danny Curran, and we got a result. Against Tilbury he had a smashing game. to put things into a more positive prospective, how about this team;-

plus any three or four from the reserves or under 18's and never mind left footed or right, any player worth their salt can play either side and adapt

 

Point I'm trying to make is the overall strength of the squads at the club, the above team wouldn't let anyone down at 1st div level and would probably finish in the top half of the table or better.

 

Opinion's are what football's all about but championships get won with stronger, larger squads, that's a fact of football life. The in depth strength at HFC is the key to promotion this year, not individual players.

 

Another issue is this, someone has said on this post that there is only one place left for grabs after the new players automatically pick themselves...this is pure drivel...work out how many players have played in the first team games so far this year. that shows how versatile and strong the squad really is. Against Walton we had only Jones from the new players on the pitch, the rest were in the directors box!!!
